2008, the worst year of my entire life came to a wonderful end. I managed to wave it good bye with people I love (though not all of them) with my almost sister and her boyfriend (or my sort of big brother) a random friend of my dad's, my grandmother and my parents. As I said my good bye's to 08, I welcomed 09 with open arms. So far the year has gone pretty darn well, nice professors, nice classes, kinda nice schedule, etc. There's still the emotional tension inside the house, bringing discomfort and tears to me and to my parents; and yet none of us seem to want to share them...
On much lighter news, I'm quite excited and awaiting the could-be arrival of my shista to the PUCPR. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Ummm...I've been hooked on a series called Veritas: The Quest ^////////^ it is soooooooo addictive! And while I'll admit the real reason I wanted to watch it was because of Alex Carter, the plot dragged me in in a way I never thought it possibly could. Being the daughter of a history professor and a museum curator, I am up to my ears in History and consequently, I don't like it much =P plus my grades there are pretty mediocre *laughs* But that show is so amazing, I couldn't help but love it ^_^ Sadly, there are only 13 episodes =( Hehehe ^_^ I have mommy to thank for that series, not only did she download it for me; but she was also the one that "introduced" me to Alex XD by suggesting I watch Bones (yet another series where I am totally hooked now). Thank you mommy hon ^_~ I wuv you!
This semester I'm taking only language courses, two English classes (312 and 340), Russian, Italian and French. Just 15 credits, because I am burned out from last year and I want to take it slow this semester. I'm not even going to take classes in the summer >_< Noooo I am (God willing) visiting my political uncle in Arizona, sometime between May and June ^_^ I for one, can't wait to meet him =P I love him soooo much *giggles* I'm looking forward to the trip, but not to leaving behind my shistas...:(
*sniffles* I have only two episodes left of Veritas...T_T Life is sucking for me right now XD I'll leave since I have class tomorrow, just one though, yay!!! ^_^ Tuesdays and Thursdays I have just one class, thank God. Unfortunately, since it was a free day today, we have Mon/Wed classes on Thursday TT_TT so...I'll be going to the university at 8am and leaving at 7pm...two days in a row - -;; meep...
